Sorry, I've been busy the past days. Now that Ramadan is over, everything's back to normal here in Dubai. Office timings are back to its original schedule and people are just so busy at work after a few days of vacation.
My boss also flew back to his home country and be back after a couple of weeks. Well, at least we can go home on time. Lol!
When everybody else is busy, I am just here in my station just writing this blog.
Anyways, have a great day and enjoy the summer heat! #summerinDxb

OFW - What is it Like???
Most of the times, my mind is in dilemma as to stay here in Dubai and continue working, or to go home to the Philippines and be with my daughter. As much as I want to go back home, but my dreams for my daughter are holding me back. I know very well that I wouldn't be able to provide all her needs and wants if I work there. My earnings will only be enough for the very basic needs or even not. But another part of me really feels guilty knowing that I have missed a lot of milestones in my daughter's life. I want to be there when something very significant is happening, I want to be there to comfort her when she is feeling not well, I want to be there to teach her the things that she is supposed to know. I want to be there because I am her Nanay (mom). I want to be a mother to her and I don't want to go home one day and realize that I have practically missed everything in her life. #someexpatproblems
I hate being an expat. I hate leaving my family especially my li'l princess just to earn this damn salary (Not that I don't like), but I never imagined how tough it is to be an OFW until I am one. An Overseas Filipino Worker sacrifices a lot just to give better lives to their families. I now understand how painful it is seeing all these beautiful places and wishing that your loved ones are with you too.
But this is life. This I believe is the only best choice left for us to choose. We strive, we provide and we give our best for our loved ones. I just hope and pray that all the family members left in the Philippines (including mine, of course) will value and will appreciate all the sacrifices we are doing just to give them better future. I just pray that God will help us survive and will guide us all throughout this journey.
Mabuhay ang mga OFW!!!
I hope this will inspire more people and I hope that a better life awaits us after all these sacrifices.
So now, do you know how it is like to be an OFW??
God bless.

Back to Work :(
Halloo!!! The weather is just a validation that summer is definitely here. Oh yeah! At 38 degrees, the scorching heat of the sun can sure burn our ass out. LOL! By the way, it's only 9:15 am here in Dubai and for sure, temp will rise up come 11am - 3pm.
I am now here in the office and doing some reports. Last day of early out because our Highness is coming tomorrow. And our supposed 'last week of Ramadan' will end pretty early than expected. Well, what to do yani? Hahaha! #someexpatproblems
Anyways, I hope that you guys are having a great day...Be positive and always smile! God is with us.
Please feel free to comment, should you have anything to ask or to say.
Thanks.

Migraine Attack
Today I have been attacked by a severe migraine which is totally unbearable.I had to be absent from work because the intense heat of the sun might cause my head to explode! Oh Dubai, you're an open grill!
I hope my boss won't be mad because of my absence :(
Have a great day...Hubby's coming home in a while..
P.S.
Got to talk to my daughter, and she's so undeniably adorable! I wish I could hug her... #someexpatproblems

Before Hitting The Sack
It's almost 9pm Dubai time and I am about to hit the sack now...But before that, let me share something...My husband John and I just can't end our day without watching our favorite teleserye..Yes, "Pangako Sa 'Yo" is among our favorites.... ;) Thanks to those websites offering free replays...All Kabayans here in the Middle East are well aware of these websites.
So before I miss my nightly routines, let me wish you all good night and sweet dreams... See you all tomorrow...
P.S.
My husband and I will start our teleserye date tonight...Let me be Yna and he will be my Angelo... haha!

TGIT - Thanks God It's Thursday!
TGIT - Thanks God It's Thursday! - is equivalent to TGIF here in Dubai. Most workers take their off during Fridays and offices get some rest on this day until Saturdays...
So for expats like me, it's really an Alleluia because tomorrow I will not have to wake up early and rush myself to work. Since it's Ramadan, we are going home earlier than usual because time's shortened in U.A.E...
Will keep you posted guys!!Have a happy weekend. ;)
Enjoy the summer heat and take care.
